Engagements and Humphrey

Well I've been a busy bee again today trying to finish all comissioned cards.  First up is this simple yet sweet engagement card...

This card was made solely using Docraft's Forever Friends - Black and Gold CD.

I also finally got a chance to play with my Humphrey's Corner freebie Christmas stamp.

I coloured in using my promarkers and added some snow and sparkle to give a bit more dimension.  I used one of my new nesties to cut out and emboss the picture.  Now I just need some inspiration to turn it into a gorgeous card.

I'm a busy little crafter.............

Well I've been up to my eyeballs in all things crafty since the hubby's 30th on Friday.  I had my second ever craft fair on Saturday which although wasn't too busy is giving me the confidence and experience to keep going.
Today I've been busy making two very special cards for a good friends mil.....

This is the first one....

This was made using the papers from the new Docrafts Country Companions paper kit with embellishments from Papermania.  It;s so so cute isn't it....lol

The second card I just love.....

This was made using the ever gorgeous Humphrey's Corner everyday decoupage kit and using cardstock and ribbon from my stash.

I've still an engagement card to make tomorrow for another family member but having a crafters block at the mo.  need some sleep to get my mojo back hehehe.

Finally finished!!!!

Well thanks to the footy being on tonight I got a couple of hours of happy crafting in. I finally finished the rest of my hubby's birthday cards (and yes Humphrey was used).

For this scrummy little card I used backing papers from the Humphrey occasions cd and the image is from the everyday decoupage kit. The lettering I used was from the Forever Friends Best of Days collection.

....and this one was made from the FF Best of Days Decoupage kit and Hunkydory Gems for the numbers.  This card is from my parents to hubster.

Hubby's 30th Card

As I mentioned yesterday my gorgeous hubby is 30 on Friday so the pressure was on to make him a card. I was feeling a bit lovey dovey so went with a gorgeous Humphrey image.

I coloured in the image with my promarkers and mounted onto  die cut centura pearl and  mirri scalloped circles.  I then used my cuttlebug to emboss the actual card base using my new all in one plates (they really are fab).

And here is a pic of my hubby Barry just cos I can lol......

with our two gorgeous babies Hollie and Joel.

Now I just have to make a card from the kidlets to their daddy and a card for my parents to give to him also so looks like I'm going to be a busy bunny tonight.

And some more............

Well after saying I was bored of traditional baby colours I was messing around and came up with these colours too (yes they are pink and blue...lol).  I figure a good range will work better at the craft fairs giving people a bit of choice.

Am really starting to love my promarkers just need to add more gorgeous colours to my collection.

First ever post!!

Well I've finally got a spare moment to get this blog sorted.  I'm basically using this to keep a record of how my cardmaking is progressing (hopefully).
This week is going to be a busy one as I have a craft fair on Saturday and I need to prepare.  I always worry that I won't have enough stock with me.  That and it is my amazing hubby's 30th birthday on Friday so need to get my butt into gear.
Anyways last night I used my Humphrey stamps with my promarkers for the first time. I went with green as I felt the traditional pinks, blues and yellows are overdone a bit.

I just love the Crafters Companion Humphrey Corner range and am so impatient for the Christmas launch on the 13th September.
